Sustainability
As companies all over the globe are responding to the challenges of green building and environmentally respectful operations, our Sustainability Task Force has been diligently working on ways to help our clients understand sustainable opportunities and develop an awareness of new environmental policies.
With LEED accredited professionals on staff, we are leading the way in sustainability services across the state of Minnesota. Our goal is to deliver energy efficient buildings in our office, retail, industrial, and medical tenancies. In partnering with the government’s Energy Star program to track energy usage, we implement preventative maintenance measures and establish performance standards for all components of our building and portfolio operations. The results are then benchmarked to establish best practices on all properties.
Our focus on environmental sustainability efforts reaches far beyond the tactical aspects of building a green model, we are also actively:
- sharing leading knowledge with our clients of the application of sustainability practices
- providing practical guidelines on improving existing older buildings with new environmentally friendly approaches
- working with tenants to improve the long term performance of their assets by providing advice on enhanced green workplace productivity models
- actively partnering with the US Green Building Council in support of new industry green initiatives and best practices
