Welsh Companies Receives Minnesota NAIOP Award of Excellence for Development and Construction of 4350 Baker Road

Welsh Companies, a leading full-service commercial real estate company headquartered in the Twin Cities, received an Award of Excellence from the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) for the development and construction of 4350 Baker Road in Minnetonka, MN.
The annual awards recognize exceptional new office, industrial and special purpose projects in the state. Critiqued by a panel of twenty judges representing a cross-section of developers, general contractors, mortgage bankers, brokers, and industry specialists, each entry was toured and judged on the following: site improvements and design, architectural integrity, market feasibility and judge’s overall impression.
Welsh Companies was presented the Award of Excellence in the over 75,000-square-foot office, multi-tenant category for 4350 Baker Road, a 99,568-square-foot, four-story, Class A office building. The project has obtained LEED Gold pre-Certification and includes sustainable features such as a white roof, low-flow plumbing fixtures, shower facilities, on-site cafeteria, and designated fuel-efficient vehicle parking. The property is currently 88% percent leased.
