James Chosy is General Counsel and Secretary of Piper Jaffray Companies, a publicly-traded international middle-market investment bank and institutional securities firm, a position he has held since 2001. From 1995 to 2001, he served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel, and from 2000 to 2001 he served as Secretary at U.S. Bancorp, a financial services holding company.
James has served as a member of the Board of Governors at the Children's Theatre Company since 2004 and as a member of the Board of Visitors at the University of Minnesota Law School since 2006. He is admitted to practice law in Minnesota and also holds Series 7 and Series 24 securities licenses.
