As president, William Krake manages operations for Welsh Construction in the Twin Cities and nationally. He oversees a staff of 50 professionals and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Bill's primary role is to understand the changing needs of our customers and to build and guide a strong team that provides exceptional service and delivers results.
Bill’s leadership and commitment to quality results in projects that are completed on-time and on-budget. He oversees a highly skilled, dedicated staff that includes project managers, superintendents and carpenters. As a full service construction company, Welsh Construction provides a complete scope of services in all areas of office, industrial, manufacturing, retail and multi-family.
Throughout his 25-year career in commercial construction, Bill has held responsibility for many major developments throughout the Upper Midwest. As president of CB Richard Ellis Construction, he negotiated and managed multiple million dollar projects and a staff of construction professionals. Prior to that, Bill spent 12 years with Ryan Companies as a project and division manager. During his tenure, Bill directed a variety of projects including the renovation of Toro Companies’ world headquarters in Bloomington and the extensive renovation of the offices of Dorsey & Whitney law firm.
