The Cafesjian Center for the Arts is a contemporary arts campus in Yerevan, Armenia that was designed around a former Soviet monument complex, The Cascade. Located in the heart of the city, the property features a vast green area of waterfalls and gardens, cascading down one of the city’s highest promontories. Inside, visitors will find a unique contemporary art collection and variety of exhibitions amongst an intricate network of hallways and corridors, and a series of escalators.
Phase one of this historical Armenian landmark opened to international fanfare in November 2009. The highly anticipated phase two will greatly expand the site and museum. This is a public/private partnership with the Republic of Armenia.
